A little about this project. All pages were drawn in pencil, a medium I haven't used to fully render an illustration in a long time. I was inspired by some work I had seen, most notably "The Arrival" by Shaun Tan, so I decided to give it a go. Once the pages were drawn, I brought them into Photoshop to add effects to give it the cinematic/documentary style I wanted. My goal was to capture the main character's feelings of desperation, loneliness and longing.
Not sure what's next on the horizon for me, but I'll keep exploring and hope to continue evolving artistically.
